They do have a great variety of machines. Of course I spent quite a bit of time in the casino and unfortunately didn't come home a winner this time. In the morning they have a omelette station. They had a crepe station this time which was new to me. My favorite is the Mongolian BBQ, but they also have american, mexican, italian and chinese stations. We ate at the buffet for the rest of our meals. They have excellent service and food for very reasonable prices. This trip, we had room service for breakfast on one of our mornings. The third floor has a nice gym with a beatiful view, so we sometimes stay on that floor. If you bring bread the ducks will come right to you from the pond and eat out of your hands. It's so nice to just sit on the patio and enjoy the view with a drink. This time we requested a room on the 1st floor because they have a private patio with chairs and table. I have never had any issue with bedbugs or poor housekeeping when staying here.

The beds are comfortable and the everything was clean. The rooms have a balcony with views of the golf course. There is also a Sony Cd player/alarm clock.

We always bring our portable dvd player which connects easily to their TVs. They all have coffee pots, safe, iron, refrig, internet, and even a makeup mirror in the bathroom. The rooms are very nice with separate shower/tub. The elevators are just a few steps from registration and are quick. When you check in they will print cards that will work as your player card in the casino as well as your room key. I have never had to wait like at some hotels. When you drive up to the hotel valet, someone is right there to help you with your luggage. Whoever does their landscapping is an artist.

First of all, the grounds are absolutely beautiful year round. We frequently stay at casinos in Las Vegas, Laughlin, San Diego and Palm Springs, so I feel like I can make educated comparisons. We got the players cards, I gambled a little bit and we have received free room offers ever since. We went to Barona's the first time, unplanned, five years ago because we were in the area and friends suggested we go for the buffet. I read the previous review in which the traveler complained of bedbugs and poor service and I just had to write a positive review. We just returned home today from a two night stay. I have stayed at Barona's at least 20 times in the past five years.
